The purpose of life accoring to god is please him.
to follow his rules. and believe unquestioningly in him.
people that live their lives for themself
do what makes them and them alone happy.
they LIVE.
people that live for god
do what makes god happy.
they live for death.
their actions and even their perceptions of the world around them are altered
to conform and fit in their little mental bubble.
they refuse to see things as they are and justify it as what makes them "happy".
but they won't ever really be happy will they? they'll be alive technically, but they won't live.
Religion is a crutch.
Not that I have anything against crutches,
anything that helps you stand is fine by me as long as it's not harmful to whoever is using it or others like myself.
Pot is a crutch for me. but it's not physically addictive and it's not harmful.
People say that religion is harmless and that it might not be true, but what's the harm if it gives people comfort?
Well history says otherwise. hundreds of thousands have been murdered in the name of religion and people still are today.
That's what happens when you say that it's okay to just "believe" in something without facts.
Like that makes it holy or sacred.
It just makes you ignorant.
Wake up world. Your life is limited and there's only so much time to accomplish what you want to.

people lie to themselves all the time. They convince themselves that things that are lies are true and that feelings that don't exist really do.
come to realize the truth, and I can only find it all hysterical.
at least my life is happy now, I just feel sorry for the others though.

| Not sure why I felt the urge to update this, but just thought I would.
I've moved out of my house on my own. I've been rooming with bickham and kaylan for about 2 weeks now and working and going to school. I'm liking it a lot. The only downside really is me not having a car and having to bum rides all the time. But life is looking really good right now I would say.
I don't know what randomly prompted it, but I can't stop thinking about someone again. I just keep thinking about the past and how much I enjoyed it. Times change, but I don't think that has to mean that every thing has to change with it right?
I'm not sure, all I really know is that i've never thought of this girl as just someone to sleep with. There's just something about her that I've never been able to get over.. Maybe i'll figure it out one day.

| Well, I'm in Dallas right now. About to go eat with dad somewhere. I'm officially not going back to Tech next quarter, and I'm going to get a job. The only thing i'm sad about is the people i'm leaving behind at tech. Aside from that I couldn't be happier about the situation. I'm curious about something that just happened that kind of upsets me, but i'm not as upset as I would have been in the past...
